Each InBody device comes with a standard manufacturer’s 1-year warranty that covers parts, labor, and one-way shipping.
We only service on-site locally within 150 miles of Cerritos, CA. All other areas must have the unit shipped to our location for repair. Some exceptions may apply and will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
The standard warranty policy is 1 year from the purchase date for all InBody products. Extended warranty is available at the time of purchase, and you may be eligible to purchase an extended warranty if the product was purchased within a year. The warranty does not cover any physical and/or cosmetic damage, which includes any type of water damage. Other fees will apply for additional services such as loaner units and expedited shipping.
Do not use any materials that contain acids as this may corrode the conductive surface on the electrodes. You may also use a 70% isopropyl alcohol solution to clean the unit, however do not leave loose liquids on or around the elecrodes as this could cause damage.
Yes. It is recommended to keep the original box and padding for repacking and shipping purposes. In the event that your unit needs to be repaired and you do not have a box with padding, you will need to purchase one for $95.00.
InBody devices do not have a defined life expectancy. As long as you take good care of the device, you can continue to use your InBody device for many years. There are functioning InBody units greater than 10 years old.
The InBody does not require any regular servicing. However, if the unit is turned on all the time, it is a good idea to restart the unit once every 2 weeks to 1 month.
The InBody device has an auto-calibration function that is completed each time the device is turned on. It is not necessary to calibrate the InBody device unless there have been circuit board replacements. Load cell calibration should only be performed when weight measurements seem incorrect.
